If you spend a lot of time in the workout world or even just spending time at a chiropractors office, you may have noticed the fluorescent strips taped on some athlete's or fellow patients legs, knees, ankles, shoulders, backs, etc.
This special tape is called Kinesio tape (you may hear it referred to as "KT tape" or "Rock tape", but those are just a few brands) and it's used for medical reasons. It is said to ease pain, reduce inflammation, support muscles, and boost athletic performance.
When I was in sports, I wish I had known about this stuff. But, is it too good to be true?
