November Fitness Challenge Day 6

Hi Everyone!

Woke up this morning with a minor sore throat...so, I'll be doubling greens into my body today.

Today is what I would consider a relaxing day...because it is literally the first day that I've had absolutely nothing planned to do, except for maybe a water fight with Mark this afternoon.

November Fitness Challenge Day 4

Hey Everyone!

How's everyone feeling on Day 4? I'm definitely feeling those sore muscles, but not because of a workout... but because of a therapy session I had on the 2nd. While I did my at home workout, I think by also doing my therapy session...I might have over done it. Ugh!

My back muscles literally feel like a bruised peach. Spent most of last night awake, due to not being able to sleep comfortably. Which, unfortunately, means that my sleeping pattern will be off for a few days.

However, I did receive some amazing news from the doctors during our session... wait for it...this was my Facebook post after the session on Tuesday...

November Fitness Challenge Day 3

Hey Everyone!

Who's ready for Day 3? How's everyone feeling? Are some of your muscles talking back to you yet? Don't forget to do some stretching after each of your workouts. This will allow your muscles to become leaner and stronger. If you need a rest day, take it. Listen to your body.

November Fitness Challenge Day 2

Hey Everyone!

On the days that I don't go to the gym, I workout from home with the weight of my own body. Performing simple functions, such as picking up your children (who weigh 30-60 pounds of dead weight) is still considered working out in my book. Lay on the ground and do a few reps of bench pressing with them. They will thinks it's a game (make it a fun one) and you will get a workout. Making it a game for them, will help you stay accountable - because they will want to do it everyday with you. Even better, scheduling it for a specific time of day, such as before breakfast or an hour before lunch.

November Fitness Challenge Day 1

Hey everyone!

Because of Hurricane Matthew, I decided not to do a fitness challenge for October. That didn't mean I took a break from working out, I actually worked out way more! My walks for a past 30 days have been a minimum of 3.1 miles (5K) and I've also spent a lot of time in the gym.

What's Coming In November?

Hey everyone!

As you all know, we started an October Fitness Challenge last month, but due to Hurricane Matthew coming through Florida and changing my routine (and I'm sure everyone else's) completely around, we let it slide away (no pun). However, we're bringing it back for November 1st. It's time to get pumped up and get our booties moving to the beat!
