Day 6 - Hair Mask & Giveaways

Hello Everyone,

I am bummed in myself for forgetting to take my HSN last night before bed. It was right in front of me, I was filling out my new calendar (it's addicting) with all of Mark's activities, my gym schedule and any upcoming doctor's appointments for the both of us and completely forgot. Don't you hate it when what happens? Ugh.

Today definitely feels like 102 degrees in beautiful Orlando, FL. All I am going to do is hang out around the house - and try not to eat my fridge. Mark and I spent some time outside playing, as well as some splashing around in his water table. It didn't take long for him to cover himself if water and grass. While we were outside, I had him pick a number out of our Magical Cup (our contest cup - it's Disney themed). A few days ago, I posted a contest on my personal Facebook page for It Work, since I'm a distributor, for my friends and family to pick a number between 1-8 for a chance to win a few prizes! Unfortunately, because Mark slept most of yesterday, he picked a winner this morning via video. Congratulations #4 - Jason Reed!

I totally skipped breakfast today, not because I was too busy, but because I completely forgot and wasn't hungry.

This afternoon, my sister and I started our afternoon with a DIY hair mask to help control the frizz from Florida's humidity and our split ends. Our mask contained egg, apple cider vinegar, honey and olive oil. I will let you know in a few hours if it worked.

I did eat lunch - not much, but at least I'm not craving junk! Mark had some turkey slices, crackers and cheese. I had some shrimp, cocktail sauce, cheese, some cashews and unsweetened iced tea.

I stuck a pork butt in the crock pot last night for dinner tonight. My kitchen smells amazing! I pulled out some BBQ sauce (which I know isn't Paleo), but I'm only going to mix a tablespoon into my meat tonight to give it a hint of flavor. I can also use the remainder of the meal for meals throughout the week. One teaspoon of sauce (while on Paleo) is honestly enough to enjoy some pulled pork! Add a little flavor and you're set!

Okay... the verdict is in! Yes, the hair mask did make my hair super silky smooth, but until I can style my hair without Mark hanging on me, I won't know for sure if it worked. While he isn't a fan of the straightener or the blow dryer, he's also going through a growth spurt right now...and his cuddles come first!

I did indulge in some M&M's today with Mark, as we talked about colors and numbers. Chocolate is a weakness... argh...

Does Monday really have to come so soon? Actually, I'm quiet excited for the week we have ahead of us. Mark and I will be starting a new schedule routine starting at 6am with my mama booty in the gym! Time to make some muscles sore!

Good night!
