Pamper yourself (especially mama's) with spa treatments from your kitchen. They're even better than breakfast in bed for giving her an ahhhh-some spa day!
SCRUB ~ Chocolate and Strawberries
Berries and cocoa are high in skin-protecting antioxidants, and coarse sugar gently exfoliates.
Blend 5 strawberries in the food processor until smooth. Transfer the berries into a bowl and mix with 3/4 cup sugar in the raw. Add 1 tbsp of cocoa powder. Massage into damp skin, then rinse with warm water.
FACE MASK ~ Yogurt and Turmeric
Turmeric exfoliates skin; it's also an anti-inflammatory, which soothes dryness. Antibacterial honey fights acne, and yogurt's lactic acid leaves skin looking smooth.
Put 1 tbsp of greek yogurt in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp honey and add 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric. Apply evenly to a clean face, leave on for 5 minutes. Wipe off with a damp towel.
BATH ~ VANILLA SOY MILK
Soy brightens your skin, oatmeal is calming and agave and vanilla both have anti-aging properties.
Blend 1/4 cup of rolled oats in food processor until powdery. Transfer oats to a bowl; mix with 1 cup of soy milk and 1 tbsp vanilla extract. Add 1/4 cup agave nectar and pour mixture into a warm bath.
