Day 22 of 30 to a More Organized You

Today is our twenty-second day to having a more organized month.
Let's do this!

Challenge
Make the most of it.

Maximize total storage by looking high and low. Favorite knickknacks add a festive touch when displayed above kitchen cabinets. Windowsills offer shelf space for small collectibles.

The unfortunate thing about having adorable knickknacks and a handsome little devil son, is that while you have them, you can't set them out anywhere that he can get to. Even something that might be in reach if he were to climb to get them. Nope, not happening. But, without little fingers looking to break your favorite knickknacks, this idea does work and looks fabulous!

One thing our apartment has plenty of is wall space. The ceilings are very high. This is great, because it makes the rooms appear larger - and it means we can store our favourite knick-knacks both high and low. This past weekend, my husband put together a floating shelf with a row of hooks underneath. The hooks are being used to hold baseball caps and coats while the shelf above is all holiday themed. Right now, there are some Halloween decorations up there. Once Halloween is over, it will store Christmas items, then Valentine's Day, and then...you get the point.
