Traveling to... Savannah, GA

Hello Everyone,

As I mentioned in my last post, I recently booked a trip to Savannah, Georgia to take place in a few weeks for 3 nights.

I am beyond excited, as I have never been. I was also a Girl Scout, a long time ago, and have always wanted to see where Juliette Low was born, lived and was buried. Weird? Yes, but if you were a Girl Scout or knew someone who was as involved as I was, you'd understand.

I'm also looking forward to a lot of site seeing. Going to Tybee Beach, Driftwood Beach (Jekyll Island), Wormhole Plantation, The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, Chippewa Square (the bench where Forrest Gump waits for the bus), Bonaventure Cemetery, plus an entire page full of places. I just wanted to name a few that I plan on seeing.

Why the trip? A lot of people travel for leisure...while this is most definitely a much needed girl's weekend, it is also a HUGE thank you to my best friend for sticking by me through some of the toughest time's of my life. (Another post is needed for that story.)

As much as I would love to fill this post with pictures I can find on the different internet engines, I'd rather go and take my own pictures.

Have you ever been? What places do you suggest we visit?

Have a good night everyone!

    1. They do, but we're not going anywhere near it. That will have to be in another trip.
